It doesn’t have to take up a lot of your time. You don’t have to know all the technical aspects of it, so long as you’re willing to learn as you go along.  All you have to know is what you already know. Your business and your clients.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>A newsletter is the most effective way to attract the attention of the clients you’re trying to reach. </strong></p>
<p>To get started, follow this sage advice from Julia Cameron, an adviser to writers: “Don’t get it right, get it written.”</p>
<p>Aiming for perfection can be a major stumbling block in getting your newsletter done. Maybe you’re not up on the technology used to put out a newsletter. Don’t let that stand in your way. Don’t let the fact that you’re not a Pulitzer Prize writer stop you either.</p>
<p>Instead, concentrate on the people you’re writing the newsletter for and what they want to read.</p>
<p>The 80/20 rule is quite important here. Focus 80 percent of your attention on who you’re talking to and figuring out what they really want to read. Later, you can spend the other 20 percent of your time on the technical formatting and how to send the newsletter out to clients.</p>
<p><strong>Ask …</strong><br />
There is one vitally important question to ask yourself when thinking about your newsletter: <em>“Who am I writing for?”</em> You’ll ponder long and hard about what you should write, but first you need to know who you’re writing for.</p>
<p>Next, you need to determine what your audience needs help with. Once you’ve answered both of these questions, deciding what you should write about will come quite naturally.</p>
<p><strong>Write …</strong><br />
Now it’s time to just get started. Get your newsletter out of your head and onto a written page. Take some time to review your presentation, but don’t obsess about how it looks. It’s much better to have a plain newsletter with the right content than to have a beautifully formatted one that doesn’t speak to your readers.</p>
<p>Stay focused on what it’s saying to your audience.</p>
<p><strong>Send …</strong><br />
If you spend a lot of time reworking and re-thinking your newsletter after you’ve written it, perfecting it and figuring out software, it’s going to take you a long time to send it out.</p>
<p>Once your newsletter is written, you need to get it into the hands of your audience – your potential clients are just a click away. You can only make a connection with them if you hit that “send” button.</p>
<p>That is when your subscriber list will grow. That’s how you’ll start receiving more feedback and know what your clients want from you.</p>
<p>If you do only one thing to start marketing your business this week, make it an email newsletter. It will make a huge difference to your business success!</p>

<p>Learning to write words that sell is a technique that can make a big difference to your sales conversion rate.  On a website the copy should immediately grab the reader’s attention and make them want to learn more. The copy should resonate with them on a personal level as soon as they arrive on your web page. The copy should also speak directly to the prospective customers needs. It should show them how they can benefit from working with you or using one of your products. Tailoring your copy is a simple yet very effective way to increase your conversion rate of leads to sales.</p>
<p><strong>Capture Visitor Information</strong></p>
<p>A database of customers or potential customers is one of the most valuable assets a business can have.  Every person that visits your website or expresses an interest in your products or services has the potential to become a client. It is therefore important that you have mechanisms in place on your website where you can easily capture the visitor’s information. One way of doing this is by using squeeze pages. Learning how to effectively implement squeeze pages in your website can help you vastly improve your conversion rate.</p>

It need not be a membership program, it simply means finding a way to optimize each clients buying potential for your business.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-2273" title="revenuestream" src="http://clientmagnetsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/revenuestream-235x300.jpg" alt="revenuestream" width="212" height="270" />Think of how much it costs to capture that client in the first place. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get continuous streams of revenue from your existing clients as the basis for your business, rather than constantly having to source large volumes of new business?</p>
<p><strong>Finding ways of Generating Continuous Revenue Streams</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">You may be thinking how on earth can that apply to my business? The products or services that I sell are once off offers that clients aren’t likely to buy again soon.  But think about it for a moment. In gaining that client you have also gained their trust.  They know you and they like you and they are willing to pay your price for your product or service.  That in itself is very valuable. In order to be able to keep them as a customer and earn continuous revenue from them you need to think of what they may need on an ongoing basis. What can you offer them that falls within the scope of your products or services, and that they may purchase from you regularly. It may be that you add something to what you are offering to be able to create continuity. It could just be something small but it could make a big difference to your revenue over a year.</p>
<p><strong>Tips for Sourcing Continuous Revenue Streams</strong></p>
<p>• It is important to realize the value that each and every client represents to your business.  When you build a relationship with customers you will be setting your business up to earn continuous streams of revenue from them.</p>
<p>• Take the time to get to know and understand your customers and their needs. In this way you can source ideas of how you can offer then continuous products or services over a period of time.</p>
<p>• Make sure that what you offer your clients is something of value. To the client it shows that you understand them and their needs and it will encourage them to purchase from you on a continuous basis.</p>
<p>• Think through the operations and delivery side of your offering carefully. Make sure that you have systems in place to facilitate the efficient on time delivery of your products and services.  Clients are very astute about recognizing when a promise is made that is not fulfilled. You need to be consistent in your delivery if you want to earn continuous revenue streams from a particular source.</p>
<p>Having continuous revenue streams coming in to your business can take the pressure off having to meet monthly targets. Even if the revenue streams are fairly small, as long as they are consistent they can prove to be very valuable to your business. Every time you add a new client it will not just be a once off sale, it will be a building block that you are using to grow your business. Over time these continuous revenue streams can become the backbone of your business.</p>

<p>Making your business recession-proof – It’s on the minds of many business owners.  It’s also off the minds of many business owners.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p>Entrepreneurs with all of the steps in place for attracting clients might look at you with a puzzled expression, or a nonchalant wave of the hand, when you mention the state of the world economy.  That’s because they already have the necessary steps in place to continually attract a steady steam of new clients.  They have barely noticed a difference in the economy.  In fact their businesses are thriving just as mine is.</p>
<p>This week, I’m focused on helping you become  “client magnet”.   I’d like you to start by doing the following &#8230;</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>First,</strong></span> write down your desired monthly income.</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Second, </strong></span>take your current annual profit and multiply it by two.</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Third,</strong></span> produce an amount, a windfall of money that you would like to be able to create on demand, in order to take that vacation, but a down payment on a new house, or purchase a new car.</p>
<p>Are those numbers impressive to you?  Are you beginning to picture how your life would be impacted by those numbers?  Client attraction all starts with your dream and desire.  And I am here to tell you that each one of those numbers you’ve just written down IS attainable.  I have lived this through my own life experience.   You simply need to master the key elements of client attraction and business success.</p>
<p>This is a list of 7 key strategies I use to master the art of client attraction and business success (this list is not all-inclusive but it will give you a start) …</p>
<p>• Compile (and continue to grow) a prospect list<br />
• Master the formula for how to attract premium level clients<br />
• Create offers that describe what you’re offering in a way prospects simply can’t refuse<br />
• Develop the art of client conversations<br />
• Know how to ask for money more quickly, and with more confidence<br />
• Have a system in place to close sales faster<br />
• Establish systems to convert a working business into passive income</p>
<p>If you hadn’t considered even one of these points, or if you’re not sure about how to achieve even one of these points, your business isn’t reaching its full potential.</p>
<p>Learning these steps doesn’t require complicated marketing systems that keep your head spinning with data and intricate procedures.  This doesn’t require fancy websites or cyber-marketing.</p>
<p>It’s as simple as getting down to marketing basics.  Remember those three numbers you wrote down earlier?  What if you could achieve them within the next twelve months?</p>
<p>They are your goals, your catalysts, and your springboards for the change that you envision for your life.  I want those changes for you…maybe because I feel so confident in my ability to provide the tools that you need to achieve them.  No more What If&#8217;s.  Make this the moment that you decide to ask yourself, “Why Not?”</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many believe that it’s important to stay ahead of the competition by using the latest in newsletter distribution, social networking strategies, and web traffic steering.  I often hear people say, “I’m doing everything right, but I’m just not seeing the results”.  It’s true, struggling business owners often claim that they’re doing “everything right”, <strong>but if they’re not enjoying client abundance and the relaxation that comes with steady, predictable, and secure income</strong>, they aren’t.</p>

<p>Modern times dictate the “right things,” but unless newsletters, social media, blogs, seminars, and articles are used as supplements to the <strong>basics of client attraction</strong>, they will do nothing for you, and can even distract your attention from what is essential.</p>
<p>Review each of the questions below and use your answers to assess if you’re succeeding or missing a step in your marketing efforts.  These are the indicators that you could be missing one or more of those all-important client attraction steps.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000080;">• </span><em><span style="color: #000080;">Are you relying on luck, or the “spray and pray method”?</span></em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong>If you’re simply keeping the bill collectors at bay, and you’re still looking ahead for the next clients to present themselves, you’re missing a basic step.</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;">• <em><strong>Do you feel completely secure in your business?</strong></em> </span>If you have fear, if you find yourself looking backward with regret and forward with apprehension, you have missed a very important marketing step.</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong><em>• When committing your time to modern marketing methods like social networking and building the perfect website, do you realize that you are enjoying few (or no) paying clients?</em></strong></span> Then you’ve overlooked a step.</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><em><strong>• Are you doing the same things as successful business owners, but you’re not getting the same results?</strong></em></span> You’re missing a step that may have come intuitively for them, but needs to be taught to you.</p>
<p><strong><em><span style="color: #000080;">• Have you experienced client abundance in the past, but a failing economy has caused rejections and decision times to increase, and once-loyal clients to stray?</span></em></strong> You have missed an essential step.</p>

<p>You believe in a better future for yourself.  The fact that you’re reading this article is proof of that.  If you’re missing a step, it’s not your fault.  Maybe it’s not obvious to you, or maybe you’ve never been taught.  Either way, it’s time to look ahead, and to find ways to implement the correct steps today.</p>
<p>Picture a combination lock.  Unless you turn the dial to each specific number, in the right direction, and in the correct order, every time, it will not unlock.  Much like this combination lock, your success will not be unlocked unless you follow the correct steps.</p>
<p>Fifteen years ago, basic principles worked for attracting an abundance of clients.  Those principles have not changed – not one word, not one letter.  What has changed is the palette from which you can color those efforts.  You might be working in a cyber-world, communicating as never before, but unless you embrace the basics, and learn to creatively apply them, your efforts will fall flat.</p>
<p>Modern marketing techniques have their places.  After the basics are in place, they can complement and enhance your efforts in ways that speak to our modern world.  But it’s important to remember that they are condiments, add-ons, not essential to the basic building of your sea of clients.</p>
<p>Modern marketing developments are new, but success isn’t.  It’s as old as the foolproof steps that successful business owners live by.</p>

<p>I know what you are probably thinking. Can it really be that simple? Surely business strategy is more complex than that? Indeed there are many different approaches to business, but when it comes to growing your business there are really only three areas that you need to focus on.  How do you feature in each of these categories?</p>
<p><strong>Attracting more Leads</strong></p>
<p>Most marketing efforts are focused on getting customer’s attention and getting them to make an enquiry with you. This is a very important part of any business. To evaluate how you are doing in this category pull up your sales statistics. How many enquiries are you getting on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis? Are your enquiries coming from one particular source? Is there one area of your marketing that is doing better than others? Are there ways in which you can think of to improve on the number of leads you get in?<br />
<strong><br />
Converting More Leads to Sales</strong></p>
<p>When I did this exercise this is one area where I fell short. I was getting in the enquiries but I wasn’t converting enough of them to sales. Too often business owners think they are doing well because they are busy fielding enquiries, but if those enquiries aren’t buying then your business won’t grow. Making sure that you have a strong conversion rate is one way in which you can see your business grow exponentially.</p>
<p><strong>Increasing the Average Value per Order</strong></p>
<p>What I am talking about here is price. How can you increase your price of what you are selling so that the sales that you do get in are more valuable? In my experience most people are selling at a price that is well below their value. This means that you need to sell that much more just to reach your turnover targets. One of the most effective business growth strategies is learning how to price what you are selling so that you don’t have to work yourself into the ground selling high volumes.<br />
<strong><br />
Tips for applying this to your Business</strong></p>
<p>• Get your sales statistics and analyze them in terms of these three categories. Once you have your figures, turn them into percentages. This will give you a good feel for how you compare in each category.</p>
<p>• Make a note of the areas where you most weak and most strong. The area of weakness is where you need to focus your efforts. The areas of strength are things that you can build on and learn from.</p>
<p>• Set goals that are specific and targeted in your area of weakness. For example: if you are only getting five enquiries a day and you want to increase that number to ten enquiries a day then that will be your goal. Make the goals measurable in terms of timing and quantities.</p>
<p>• Look for tools and tactics that you can use to achieve your goals. It may involve attending a sales seminar on how to attract more customers. It may be implementing a specific promotion or marketing campaign.</p>
<p>•  Monitor your progress to see if there is any improvement in your sales statistics. By being aware of how you are doing in each category you can immediately see where you need to focus your efforts.</p>
<p>Too often business owners get bogged down in complicated strategies when all they really need is to focus on these three main areas. Know your areas of strength and weakness and implement tactics to improve on that. You will soon see your business growing and achieving amazing results.</p>

<p>For now.</p>
<p>But what might happen when that one lead source tanks, evaporates, or otherwise disappears?  You’ve got it:  you’re leadless.</p>
<p>Metaphorically, eating the same food, over and over, day after day, can lead to nutritional imbalance.  Plus, if that food source dies or is plundered, you will starve.</p>
<p>The same principle applies to your business ’ lead sources:  if you rely on one source for sustenance, your business will be left in a vulnerable state.</p>
<p>For instance, if you rely solely on email for getting the word out, you’re putting your business in a disadvantageous position.  Sure, email is a terrific method:  it’s automated, it’s easy to implement, it’s inexpensive, and it can be easier to obtain email addresses than physical addresses and phone numbers.  But, email is only a valuable resource when it’s one of many.</p>
<p>Consider this:</p>
<p>• Email isn’t the only contact method that can be automated.  Post mailings, phone calls, article and report writing, advertising, and marketing can all be automated by delegating these responsibilities to outside sources.</p>
<p>• When delegating lead generation responsibilities, don’t tie yourself down to thinking you must pay for these services.  Contract with interns (who will often work for little or no cost in exchange for the experience), enlist the services of a neighbor with whom you can trade services, bribe nieces and nephews with fun outings in exchange for their envelope-stuffing talents…the possibilities are as endless as your imagination.</p>
<p>• Don’t think in terms of increasing the burden on your already-busy schedule.  Every lead source that you come up with should hold the potential of being automated in the future.  In other words, good fortune isn’t good if it equals more work for you.  Just because something works in small quantities, doesn’t mean that it will work, in the same fashion, in large quantities.</p>
<p>• If you’re just starting out, and have no house contact list, you might want to consider renting a contact list.  But, engage in this method only as a springboard.  Remember that the rental cost will add up quickly, increasing your cost-of-sale significantly.  Soon, you’ll need to explore other options (maybe those opened up through the use of the rental list) to build your own, unique sources.</p>
<p>• Because so much of the world communicates through email, “spam” has come to be viewed as this generation’s junk mail.  A postcard or a handwritten note in a mailbox is not only a 21st Century novelty, it is appreciated and likely to be opened and read.</p>
<p>• Challenge yourself to find more lead sources, instead of finding more leads through existing sources.  Your business will enjoy a steadier flow of leads if you have 100 sources, with 2 leads each, than if you have 2 sources, with 100 leads each.  Think wingspan, not feathers.</p>
<p>• Diversify.  Be creative.  Be willing to explore lead paths that you may have never before considered.  Chances are that your competition hasn’t considered them either.</p>
<p>When thinking about lead generation, it’s important that you remember to think in terms of a buffet.  A single course method can be compared to a one-food diet:  it’s unbalanced and the likelihood of eating it all, quickly, is high.</p>
<p>Diversity in your lead generation will deliver more security, more growth potential, and ultimately, more profit for your business.  So mix it up:  your discriminating taste, and the ultimate health of your business, will give some rave reviews.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">Loving your job?  Loving your business?  OR does it feel like you’re still having to suffer through the more undesirable aspects of your work?  I once believed as long as you generally enjoyed your profession, and was rewarded for it, you would still need to take care of those elements and some tasks that you dislike doing.  Well, things have changed and this no longer has to be true.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-2074" title="clientattraction" src="http://clientmagnetsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/clientattraction1-300x199.jpg" alt="clientattraction" width="251" height="167" /></p>
<p>In order to create the type of magnetism that attracts prospective clients to you, you must find that one thing that you’re inherently intended to do and eliminate the rest.  With so many resources available to every one of us, there really is no excuse to continue to do OR continue procrastinate on those things we hate to do. But, you might ask, “How can I find that one thing I’m meant to do?”  You can start with your current business.  Here’s how:</p>
<p>•    Make a list of all of the tasks that you’re responsible for in your business.  Often, it can be hard to call up every duty, so it can be helpful to keep a daily log.<br />
<strong><br />
</strong>•    Assign a love factor to each task.  Is it your favorite?  Do you want to do it first every day because it makes you feel fulfilled?  Or is it the one you detest?  The one you try to avoid?</p>
<p>•    Isolate the tasks that you detest and ask yourself if those tasks can be eliminated.  Can you redesign your business’ purpose to cut them from your routine?</p>
<p>•    If the detested duties are necessary duties, start, right away, to find another way to get them done.  Hire someone.  Automate them.  Anything that will eliminate the negative energy from your daily repertoire.</p>
<p>If this process has been completed efficiently, you will be left with one main task…the one that you’re absolutely wild about.</p>
<p><strong>The laws of positive energy dictate that you’ll be paid more for those tasks which you enjoy the most.</strong> Once you can figure out what you’re good at, and do that thing exclusively, you’ll realize more success than you had when you were bogged down doing all of the other false necessities.</p>
<p>Another point to remember is though many of us would like to believe that our business lives and our personal lives can be maintained separately, with a definitive line dividing the two, it’s nearly impossible to isolate them.  If there are things in your personal life that drag you down (laundry, cooking, cleaning), then do what you can to justify hiring someone to do them for you.  The positive energy that you’ll create in your personal life will spill over into your professional life, multiplying the magnetism that you create.</p>
